Mula Velha Edição Especial is a full-bodied red wine with firm, fruity tannins. It presents a diverse bouquet of aromas, displaying notes of ripe red fruits, black fruits, and delicious balsamic notes such as vanilla and spices. It is a fruity red wine with very soft tannins and elegant acidity.
Winemaking:
Mula Velha Edição Especial is a red wine produced with red grapes of Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez, and Trincadeira planted in the Lisboa wine region. After the fermentation process occurred at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks, the wine was transferred to French and American oak barrels for 12 months, where it stayed in contact with fine lees and was subjected to regular stirring, in the last 4 months, prior to being bottled.

Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez, Trincadeira.
Tasting Notes:
Mula Velha Edição Especial is a vigorous and fruity red wine, predominantly displaying aromas of ripe red and black fruits and high-quality balsamic notes, such as vanilla and spices. It exhibits flavours of blackberries and ripe cherries along with delicate floral nuances, velvety tannins, and very well-balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Storage lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
